Gospel Jubilee Cruise
While I'm very excited about the fact that the Dixie Echoes are hosting their own cruise, I am a bit perturbed that this didn't take place while I was still a member!! What's up with that guys?? ;o) At any rate, this is certain to be one of the most enjoyable cruises available in the southern gospel music industry today. Extra effort has been given to make this cruise as affordable as possible. One example is having a smaller number of groups on board. This allows for a smaller budget for the promoter, thus allowing a lower ticket price for the cruise overall. Secondly, by having less groups, it allows everyone more stage time without having to rush off so the next group out of 50 gets their turn. I'm predicting a much more relaxed atmosphere, and more one on one time with your favorite groups! This is definitely a cruise you will not want to miss!!
Appearing on the cruise will be your hosts, the Dixie Echoes, Chuck Wagon Gang, Dove Brothers Quartet, The Diplomats, Blackwood Singers, Toney Brothers, (New) Florida Boys, Melody Boys Quartet, and former long-time Florida Boys lead singer, Josh Garner. If you enjoy old fashioned gospel singing then you can't go wrong with this line-up!
The cruise will depart from Mobile, Alabama on January 26, 2009 and make stops in Cozumel, Calica, and Playa del Carmen, Mexico returning to Mobile on January 31, 2009. And frankly, just the thought of seeing Stewart Varnado in bermuda shorts might scare some of you away, but the photo op would be priceless!
Make your plans now to attend! Cabin space is limited and they're expected to go fast! Be sure and visit: www.gospeljubileecruise.com for complete pricing, registration, and event details. This is destined to become one of the best cruises in the business today!
